We work hard all week long. Be it at our careers, extra jobs, part time hustles, family, kids, spouse .. we are on the go. And many times “on the go” means on-the-go food. Traditionally, for a lot of folks, Sundays are a day of rest. Even if you’re not traditional, at some point you’ve got to pull over and take care of you. Recharge your batteries for the next week on deck, and nourish your body with rest, hydration, and good nutrition.
If you find “healthy eating” is too time consuming because it takes more time to make a sandwich and salad than it does to answer five work emails and set up 3 new meetings for the next “deal” on the table.. then here is an easy alternative to get some healthy in ya while maintaining a tight schedule. JUICE IT! Toss some produce in a juicer and sip on a nutritionally packed tasty glass of super foods while you answer those emails!
A nice little mini juice flush I make in my down time to gently detox (here we use Sunday as an example;) has beets, apple, cucumber, lemon and other goodies in it. Great for your whole body, but especially the kidneys, liver, and gallbladder! I’ll spare you the nutritional explanation of each food, but in a nutshell, the ingredients in this drink cleanse toxins from the blood, stimulate the liver to dump acid waste, increase bile production, improve digestion, balance blood sugar, clear brain fog, increase hydration, dissolve stones, and balance hormones. Just to name a few! I’ll add a “nutrition nutshell” to posts in the future. 🙂 Juice, drink, enjoy!
